Bakuriani is a urban-type settlement and a ski resort in the Borjomi district of Georgia. It is located on the northern slope of the Trialeti Range, at an elevation of 1,700 meters above sea level.
A perfect place to spend your holiday, enjoy the snow and benefit your health. Many people are visiting Bakuriani just because of its climate, but even the place is good for different activities.
Moreover, if you have kids this is a safe place to take them and let them enjoy their adventures.
In this tour we will visit Borjomi City, taste Borjomi mineral water, which comes naturally from underground. Rabati city, where we visit Rabati fortress and overnight in Bakuriani. On the way back to the city – Gori
After breakfast at the hotel we will leave Tbilisi and head to Borjomi. It will take about 2 hours on the way. First stop is Borjomi national park, Where you can taste Borjomi mineral water, which comes from the ground , known for therapeutic qualities. You can ride a cable car here and on top enjoy a panoramic view of the park and Borjomi City. afterwards we will visit Rabati castle which is a 50 minutes drive from Borjomi. It is not only a historical monument, but a real cultural city center, town within the town.There is a church, mosque, synagogue, small park, History Museum, various shops, hotels and even a civil registry office inside the fortress walls. Overnight in Bakuriani.
We will spend the whole day at Bakuriani. Enjoy snow and different activities. You can ride a horse or try offroad riding. You are free to do anything you want and enjoy your day. Overnight in Bakuriani.
After breakfast check out from the hotel and head back to the city. On the way we will stop in Gori and visit Uplistsikhe cave city, an ancient rock-hewn town which played a significant role in Georgian history over a period of approximately 3,000 years.
Uplistsikhe is listed among the historical monuments protected by UNESCO. From uplistsikhe we will go back to Tbilisi directly.
