1.Gudauri
Gudauri is the closest ski resort from Tbilisi. It will take only 90 minutes to get there and moreover on the way there are a lot of places to visit and enjoy the military road view. There are a lot of cable cars and you can choose different ski routes for skiing. There are places for kids to play, ski and enjoy the snow. Hotels are near ski tracks and you can even rent an apartment. Apart from skiing you can try paragliding if you want different and unforgettable extreme adventures. 2. Bakuriani
Bakuriani is a place full of trees and completely different from gudauri. Ski tracks are good for amateurs also and it is the best place to learn to ski. You need about 3 hours to get there, but like Guauri, there are different sightings to visit on the way and the view is also beautiful. Bakuriani is a perfect place for family and especially for kids. Due to pine trees the climate is good for your health which refreshes your body and mind as well. Apart from skiing there are a lot of activities as well. You can ride a horse, wander around the forest with a motorcycle and try offroad adventures. 3.Svaneti, Hatsvali and Tetnuldi
There are two ski resorts in Svaneti – Hatvali and Tetnuldi. But it is way more far than Gudauri or Bakuriani and it will take around 9 hour to get there, so you need to plan at least a one week tour to spend perfect time there. It is easier to get in Hatsvali, because there is a ski lift from mestia to Hatvali. On the way you will be able to enjoy breathtaking mountain views. On top there is a cozy restaurant “ zuruldi” from where you will see a panorama view of Mestia and mountains. If you love to ski in the forest, Hatsvali is a great destination for it.
To get in Tetnuldi is a little bit difficult, because it is not that close to Mestia and you need to get there by car. Besides this, Tetnuldi ski resort offers a ski track which is the longest in the whole Transcaucasia. Winter season is longer here and snow quality is best. 4.Goderdzi
Goderdzi ski resort is located at 2000 meters above sea level, 252 kilometers from Tbilisi and 109 kilometers from Batumi, in the highlands of Adjara, on Goderdzi Pass. The resort is characterized by impressive nature, fresh air, beautiful landscapes and well-equipped ski slopes. There are less people than at other resorts, so you can enjoy yourself better and avoid crowds. The climate is good for your health so it is good and it is recommended to stay there more than 2 days. You can stay in a hotel or cottages, both are comfortable to choose. This place is perfect for both seasons, winter and summer.
